Officially finished music magazine
school magazine (preliminary task)
This is the cover and contents page that I have done for my
school magazine from this I have learnt that you need to add appropriate
image(links to your theme/objective) and I have also learnt that the contents(
cover story ,features)etc. must be positioned on the left hand side of the
page.
Before I created the magazine cover and the contents I went
to stores and looked at the layout of other magazines and the colour they used.
From looking at these magazines I have realised that they didn’t use too many
colours so I did not use more than 4 colours on the cover of my magazine.
Draft of school magazine (preliminary task)
Today, I have learnt how to create a front cover of a
magazine that are specially designed for students in sixth form. During the
process I have learnt that in the left third you should include the title of
each subject that you are talking about and that at the very top you must
always put your headline.

Question 7
Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
Question 6
Question 6 - what have you learnt about technologies from
the process of constructing this product?
For question 6 I have created a short clip on Windows Live
Movie Maker, please have a look at it.
Question 4 and 5
Who would be the audience for your media product? How did you attract/address your audience?
In this lesson I have completed question 4 and 5 which will
be under the name `Question 4 and 5 officially finished.'
Question 3
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
For question 3 I did a short video containing a voice over
which will explain what kind of media institution might distribute my media
product which is a music magazine aimed at children and teenagers.
Below is the speech that I have made in the voice over.
"After looking into 2 different media institution, IPC
and Bauer I believe that IPC is the most suitable media institution that can
help distribute my media product which is a music magazine."
"I believe that IPC is the best one for me because
after looking into both websites IPC offers a range of different categories
which they work with such as fashion and beauty, life style and sport related
magazines and out of the many categories one of which they help publish is teen
magazine which is perfect because the magazine that I am doing is a teen
magazine aimed at children from the ages of 8 - 15 however Bauer doesn't seem
to do teen magazine but rather towards the rock category such as the magazine
kerrang. As I have stated before in my work one of the unique selling point
that I will be offering to my target audience is an exclusive poster every
issue and IPC others this and much more such as affordable fashion and beauty ,
latest gossip and exclusive interview all of which I included in my magazine.
IPC also creates content for multiple platforms, across print, online, mobile,
tablet and event all of which they have stated on their website."
Question 2
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
Here is the link to my question 2, hope you enjoy it!

Today's achievement
Today's Achievement
Today in this lesson I have started on question 4 and 5
which is the audience profile question. In this question I have planned to do
an animation which shows who my audience is and what they expect from a pop
magazine. To create an animation I will be using Paint and Windows live movie
maker.
As you can see below I have created a person which will be
representing me. This person will be asking my audience questions.
